WHAT IS STORYBIRD ?

   Hello to everyone. I am here with a new app for you. Its name is storybird. It is generally used for education. If you are a teacher or a student this app is really useful for you. In this you will be able to read and write yourself at the same time. There is also some areas that wants money but as I am use its free version I wasnt able to look at it.So lets find  out how it works.

As I mentioned before in this app you will be able to read and write at the same time. I guess in my opinion this feature is reeally helpful for any student or teacher because  being able to write is really wonderful skill and one good teacher or student should have these skill. What I mean by being abel to write is not just writing a little paragraph or something. As you see the picture on the left you can write comic, poetry or flash card also. These options shows that what we say as education is not memorazing what is written on the book but instead it helps read what someone else write on their book and gives us the opportunity to write our book, poetry or flash card.

As a final I myslef made something in this app I will leave on the below. I hope you will like it. See you next time.

WHAT IS GISTORY ?

   Hi  everyone, I am here with you with a new app. Its name is Gistory and it is designed by Istanbul University lecturers. İt is designed for those who want to learn foreign language in a better way. For now it has some drills for english and spanish language learners. So lets find  out how it works.

First of all as I said before there are some drills for ennglish and spanish language. There are 3 exercises for these language. first one is simple exercises that we are used to it. It has just questions like grammar and vocabulary. But in the second one there are some different approaches to language learning. For example in the beginning you will be given a story and you will be expected to make it continue by your ideas which are given in the options. If you guessed the story wrong you will go back to wrong moment and this circulation will be going on till you find the real story. In the last one there is spanish language. As I dont know Spanish very well , I cant say how good it is. But it seems like to me that it is as good as the second english exercise.






Here we come to the most important part. In this part you will be preparing your own gistory. That is yourn own exercises. This exercises are all about your ideas. As you can see the picture on the right you can add a video, picture, audio and quesitons. These four ways of question types will be a very good approach to language learning or even in the area of learning anything. Besides you will also be able to connect every quesitons to one another. For example while you are in the first question or exercise, you can directly link it to last question. That is awsome I think.

    Hello to everyone, I am here for you with  a new app. Its name ıs VOKİ.  With this app  you can make beatiful vidcasts.You can use these vidcasts more usefully for education especially for little children.They can learn and have fun at the same time. Because the characters used in the this app seems more close children. I also made a vidcast and I put it below. I hoıpe you will like it. See you next time..

      Hello to everyone, I am here with a new app.Its name is anchor. So what is anchor ? Anchor is app that allows you record your voices .You can addd background music to your voice . Also you can make cover for your voice. What I mean for voice is a podcast as you all know.. I have experienced this app also and I share a podcast too. In this app you can share podcast in series but I did it as a example to shoıw you what this like. Hello to everyone, I am here for you with a new app.I started to use this app as soon as I stepped into my university. Nearly all of my teachers are using this app and generally I am doing my assignments via this  app.. So lets not make it too long and look closely to this app.



First time you open this app, you will be able to enroll it as a teacher or a student.For myself I am a student there as result of position in the school. As you can see in the picture on the left I got some lessons.Let me remind when enrolling a class you must have a entry code which is given by teacher of that class. Then you will start your learning journey..

 

When the learning starts , teachers can assing students homeworks, share files and contact them via this app.Most exciting thing for tecahers is that they cans see whhat students are doing during their assingment. What I mean is they can put a due time for assignments and they even can grade them. That is great new according to my opinion :-). That will show who is working hard ..

   This app is not limited just by a lessons you can also play games in it. That should be a good news for students I guess. Becuase when they get bored of lessons they can cut a break and play game to relieve... I dit it for sometime :-)

WHAT IS SEESAW ?

     Hello to everyone I am here for everyone with a new app  for you.Its name is Seesaw. Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. With this app your lessons will be online and your students dont need to go to school every day or they wont be anxious about tehir assignment becasuse they will be able to send it to this app. So lets find out how this app works ?

First of all as you see in the picture on the left , there are 5 option in the home page. In the journal option you will see activity library. In this library you can see your activity and other people's activty and their lessons. You can be inspired by them and apply to your class. Believe me you will find out excellent things according to my experience.
     

In the activities options you can post a student work. As you see in the picture on the right you can create activity with alots of things like photo, dravwing, video exc. You can also make deadline for activity. Besides students make comment on these activities. So this will be another good thing for you.


You can also send announcement to this class. You will use it on send box.There are two way of announcement. First is student and the second is family announcement.Yeah you heard right. Your family can also can follow your lesson in this app. But of course this is upon teachers permission. Families get informed when there is an announcement.

For the skills option ; that is not valid on the free use app. As I use it free I couldnt use it. So I cant tell you how that works .Sorry for this...

  For the last option you will see blog.. This is most surprising option for me. Students and teachers can write anything in this blog. But this can be published only by teachers permisssion.

WHAT IS PADLET ?

Hello to everyone !!!  I am now a new member of this area. From now on I will be writing some educational experiences and reviews about everything I find  for you. So lets start with the first one. Here is the Padlet. As I am student now and I hope I will be teacher someday,this app will help me  you who want to teach someone something. So lets look at what is Padlet ?

Padlet is a website that provides users with a digital canvas. The user can post text, videos and images from a mobile device or a desktop.So lets find out how can we post texts,videos and images.First of all when you open the padlet app and start to create a padlet you will see something like the picture on the right.You should  choose what type of padlet you are going to do. For myself, I chose the timeline option and did my padlet there.

   

After you chose your padlet style you should look at this settings on your padlet which is shown on the left side. You will see that you can add videos, photos web sites links, films and much more..You will also can share this padlet with your friend maybe, and you can go on making it perfect ıf you can:-). There are more about this app or website. Lets say that you write bad words in it, padlet will give you a chance to make it right or replace them with nice emojis.That sound awsome when heard for the first time.Besides when you finish the padlet and send to your students you may allow them make comments on it. So you will understand whether your audience get this padlet right.In conclusion that is how you can use padlet. I hope you get it right. Last information !!! I did a padlet too.
